It's strange someone can ring me and I can tell you everything you need to know about us, now having to put words down for everyone to view I'm not sure I can fit it all in!
So we are a family run gundog establishment, let me introduce you, So we have my dad (Danny), myself (Vicky) and my up and coming protégé daughter who has just turned 5. Yes her age does not in anyway stop her from training or getting involved in all aspects of what we do, although I sometimes wonder, especially when she ends up trying to go through the cover after the dogs.
We pride ourselves on our beautiful dogs (yes I maybe biased), we could not ask for a better selection in everything they do, from how they work for us hitting the cover, swimming for that lost bird or when you have one of those amazing moments where your dog has found that hidden bird that no one elses could find, or they have pinpointed the bird falling from the sky and caught it mid air!! (This happened last year for me (proud), we have all had those moments, where you just swell up with pride knowing that your dog is fantastic and loves what they do just as much as they love you!). Although i shall not kid you into a false sense of magical illusion, you should know, that as well as those fantastic days, our dogs do the same as everyone elses..... they have bad days too. Where yes you guessed it you may as well talk to a wall because they know everything. (I could have just wrote how great they are but if you own your own gundog you know what i'm talking about.)
We have 40 + years experience in working training and breeding our spaniels, we started our lines with a beautifull liver and white springer called Trevale Pickles and have grown our lines from there many going back to Robinsmoor Sam of Flintwood and Badgercourt lines. Would you Believe it that my father had Greyhounds before our wonderful journey started with spaniels. We have been very blessed with all of achievements and how well people have found our dogs to turn out, we recently updated our kennel system (I will not lie dad and I had a few minor disagreements through this process but we worked as a team, including getting help in from my brother, I'm not a massive fan of heights so thankfully i didn't have to Scream about the injustice of going up a ladder... too much). We now have a beautiful setting in a valley surrounded by the woodland, acres of fields and a river, this all makes prime training ground.
With our new updated kennels done, and our council breeding license in place. we look forward to another year with our syndicate shoot, and various other shoots we attend beating or picking up and seeing our extended family (because everyone on the shoots act as one and there is no place we would rather be then getting covered in mud and water by our dogs and enjoying a good laugh with them).
